The “Shining Hope · Endless Love” Mother’s Day lantern charity event was successfully held on 1–2 May 2026 at the Hong Kong Ronald McDonald House – Kwun Tong House. Organized by the Jue Xing Nian Ci Foundation, and fully supported and sponsored by the First Gold Charity Fund, First Gold 3.0 Jewellery, the Hong Kong Gold Exchange, as well as multiple charitable organisations, the event brought warmth and hope together to the children with illnesses and their families staying at Ronald McDonald House in Hong Kong.

During the event, volunteers from the First Gold Charity Fund personally delivered love-filled gift bags to the children and their family members at Ronald McDonald House. The gift bags contained everyday essentials and small gifts, providing practical support and comfort to families who are battling illness. In addition, the programme featured a Mother’s Day themed heartfelt card workshop, where volunteers guided the children and parents to create one-of-a-kind cards, allowing the children to write their sincere thanks and blessings to their mothers with their own hands.

The day’s activities were rich and engaging, including interactive games, singing performances, and a hearty lunch prepared by volunteers. Through these arrangements, the children and families were able to feel the care and concern of the community throughout the festive occasion. Volunteers from the First Gold Charity Fund said: “Being able to bring warmth to the children and families of Ronald McDonald House through our sponsorship, gift bags, and the heartfelt card workshop is the most meaningful gift we can offer this Mother’s Day.”
