First Gold Charity Fund Participates in the Integrated Learning Day, “Love My Motherland – China”, at Rhenish Church Grace School
Publish in2017-04-28While everyone has the right to choose his own path, knowledge can influence one’s decision and thereby changes one’s life. There is an old saying goes, “Knowledge changes destiny”. The underprivileged in society cannot even make their own choices due to limited learning opportunities. Fortunately, special school teachers, with selfless dedication and effort, have been committed to providing education opportunities to those disabled students in order to help them discover their full potential, so that they can integrate into society in the future. The teachers’ mission coincides with First Gold Charity Fund’s philosophy, which is to promote social integration of the underprivileged group, based on the spirit of creating equality for all.
As a result, First Gold Charity Fund had organized a volunteer team to participate in the Integrated Learning Day, “Love My Motherland – China”, which was held by Rhenish Church Grace School. The disabled students had a chance to learn the brilliant Chinese culture and enjoyed a happy and educational day. During the event, booths were themed with traditional Chinese snacks, such as dragon’s beard candy, ding ding candy, spring field pizza and sugar hawthorn. The booth design, site decoration, and mini games were delicately prepared by First Gold Charity Fund, who worked together to help the students for a better understanding of Chinese traditional culture through games.
The students and volunteers walked on the stage at the Chinese themed fashion show and dressed as Chinese historical heroes, beauties or characters from the classical literatures, such as the kings, civil and military officials from the Three Kingdoms, Tang Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and the Republic of China; and from classic novels, such as “Journey to the West”, “The Romance of the Condor Heroes”, “Justice Bao” and “My Fair Princess”. The aim of the event was to enhance students’ self-confidence through performing their talents. Established in 2016, having the belief in “Sharing love, giving love and having love -To Be Love” First Gold Charity Fund leads the communities to love without boundaries, to extend the spirit of selflessness and to create a harmonious world.
