20th Anniversary of "Suicide Prevention Services" Dong Qua (Don't Suicide) Feast For the Elderly
Publish in2015-08-10Established in 1995, the 20-year old Suicide Prevention Services has been serving people who are suicidal, despairing or in emotional distress by means of befriending and other services, helping them to regain control of their emotions and the will to live on, and sending the message of "cherishing live". With the theme of "Listen with Hearts for 20 years" this year, SPS aims to help those in despair get through their tough time and regain their vitality by accepting, listening to and caring for them.
With a philosophy of benefiting from and benefiting society and a strong sense of social responsibility, First Gold also contributed to the Poon Choi Banquet of caring for the elderly held by SPS at Laguna Palace Restaurant on 10 August. This February, First Gold also participated in the SPS Charity Walk as its Silver Patron. And now it is involved again as the Golen Patron. Nearly three hundred seniors attended the banquet, enjoying delicacies and rich performances of two actors. Kwong Wah and Joe Junior got on the stage to sing a song with seniors' face wreathed in smiles and happiness.
