First Gold was invited to join the spectacular First Annual CGSE International (Silver) Conference held at the HKCEC on 14 November, 2012. The event aimed to provide opportunities for attendants to exchange views on the latest developments and trends of silver market. Mr. Haywood Cheung, the President of the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society and keynote speaker of the conference, announced that a trading platform of spot silver would be launched in the first quarter of the next year. Silver weighing one ton was presented for guests to take pictures which attracted widespread media reports.

First Gold also present to show support and shared views on silver investment prospects during an interview with Roadshow, which would be shown on the Roadshow buses in Hong Kong.

The seminar aimed to facilitate silver trading in Hong Kong and change Hong Kong into a gateway that connects eastern and western silver traders in ways that would enhance Hong Kong's position in the international precious metals market.
