Charity Events

First Gold is a caring employer that cares about the society and takes part in various charities pro-actively. It co-held a charity selling in Causeway Bay with Power of Love from 18-19 October, 2012 in a bid to raise money for people with kidney diseases and for students living in remote mountainous areas in mainland China. The money raised, amounted to nearly HKD 100,000, would all go to Power of Love for philanthropic purposes.

First Gold also participated in the event by dressing themselves in ways that would attract passers-by to donate. Upon completion, awards of "Team with Most Members", "Best Fund-raising Team" were presented to the staff for their contribution. All of the three teams mentioned above shared their thoughts on the event during an interview with Roadshow. The video would be shown on the Roadshow buses in November in Hong Kong. Stay tuned!

This charity selling aimed to raise money for Power of Love and Dialysis Center in a bid to provide dialysis services for those in need and thus improving the well-being of the elderly or people with kidney diseases by enhancing their opportunities of being cured. Besides, it also aimed to improve education environment for children living in remote mountainous areas in mainland China by building new schools, revamping old ones and providing children at school age with access to basic education which might change their lives.
